Who we are
Parents vs the Modern World is a small independent podcast and resource project run by Dani and Tash. We decide how any information collected through this website is used.
What we collect
We collect the information you choose to share below. We do not run advertising or visitor analytics on this website.
- Newsletter sign-ups: with your consent, we send your email address to beehiiv, our newsletter provider. We record the signup page and a dated reference to the consent you gave. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter.
- Family questions: we store your chosen answer, any optional comment, the time and the source page privately in Lovable Cloud. No name or email address is required. Please avoid including identifying details about children. Only approved administrators can read these responses.
- Anything you choose to email us (your name, your message and any details you include) sits in our email inbox, in the same way as any other email you send.
What we use it for
Anything you email us is used to reply to you. Newsletter addresses are only used to send new conversations, useful resources and occasional updates. Nothing else. We will never sell them or share them for others' marketing. Family-question responses help us understand what families find useful and shape future conversations and resources.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to deal with what you contacted us about. Newsletter delivery stops when you unsubscribe; beehiiv may retain a suppression record to respect your choice. We keep family-question responses only while useful for planning our content and review them periodically.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it at any time. You can withdraw your consent to emails whenever you like. One click, no hard feelings.
Services we rely on
The website is hosted by our hosting provider, which processes the technical request information any web server needs in order to serve a page. beehiiv processes newsletter subscriptions and Lovable Cloud stores private family-question responses and manages administrator sign-in. We do not currently run visitor analytics or advertising tools.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, but uses browser storage to remember when you close the follow invitation. Administrator sign-in uses session storage or cookies to maintain secure access. If optional tracking is added, we will ask first and update this page.
